Carrier Transicold, the transport refrigeration division of Carrier, is seeking a Technical Writer to support the container products documentation.
Main responsibilities of technical writer position for container products:
- Create technical manuals required for operation and service of Transicold products; primary product line focus will be the container/genset products.
- Work with engineering development team to support new products as well as sustaining engineering for updates to current products.
- Support web based tools learning implementation project.
- Support other all lines as necessary.
- Support process improvements activities.
BA/BS in English and/or Communication and/or Engineering or AAS with 5+ years experience in technical writing. At least 5 years of experience in comparable function.
Teamplayer, excellent communicator, detailed oriented person.
Proficiency in Word, Excel and other Microsoft software.
Knowledge of technical writing software such as Interleaf, Page Maker or Frame Maker and illustration creation software such as Illustrator would be a plus.
Web based learning tools experience and knowleadge would be a plus
